Jersey’s Collision and Casualty Reduction Plan

The Government of Jersey has released its first Collision and Casualty Reduction Plan, outlining key actions to help lower the number of people seriously injured or killed on the Island’s roads.

This marks the first time Jersey has adopted a formal strategy specifically targeting collision and casualty reduction. The approach brings the Island in line with international best practice seen in countries like Sweden and the Netherlands, where the Safe System Approach has been used successfully to reduce road deaths.
